About Fluorite:
Fluorite gets its name from the phenomenon of fluorescence that several specimens possess. This colorful mineral has been used as ornamentation as well as in several industrial processes. Though it does not have a long history in magical use, Flourite has become increasingly common as people discover its influences. This stone is believed to be particularly effective on the conscious mind, helping to focus thoughts and introduce logic to emotional situations. It is said to be useful in processing information.
Flourite appears in a variety of colors ranging from greens to blues to purples. Some specimens are particularly clear, having very little color at all. Many are entirely translucent, while some have inclusions that make the stone appear more opaque. Some specimens display flourescence under certain light conditions.
This intellectual stone is excellent for meditation, introspection, and the balancing of heightened emotions.
